At The Smoked Crab Company, everything starts with passion—and smoke. I’ve always loved how smoke transforms the flavor of meats like ribs and brisket, taking them from delicious to unforgettable. Living in Baltimore, my heart (and appetite) grew fond of Blue Crab. One day, I asked myself: What if I could combine the flavor of smoke with my favorite seafood?
That question sparked a journey. Over three years, I experimented with Hickory, Mesquite, and Oak to craft the perfect wood blend that enhances—rather than overpowers—the sweet, delicate flavor of crab. I even built a custom smoker from the ground up to bring my vision to life.
Smoked crab wasn’t in any cookbook. So I wrote my own. And from that spark, The Smoked Crab Company was born. My mission is simple: to deliver a bold, original taste of Baltimore to your table.
